About ICHD 2026

The International Conference on Hydrodynamics (ICHD) is the forum for participants from around the world to review, discuss and present the latest developments in the broad discipline of hydrodynamics and fluid mechanics. The first ICHD was initiated in 1994 in Wuxi, China. Since then, 14 more conferences were held in Hong Kong, Seoul, Yokohama, Tainan, Perth, Ischia, Nantes, Shanghai, St Petersburg, Singapore, Egmond aan Zee, Incheon, Wuxi and Rome. Evidently, ICHD has become an important event among academics, researchers, engineers and operators, working in the fields closely related to the science and technology of hydrodynamics.

The 16th ICHD (2026) aims to enhance the exchange of the latest studies and state-of-the-art technologies on hydrodynamics, covering sectors and topics from climate change, coastal hazards, coastal engineering, to AI development, low altitude economy, and policy related to the sustainable development of coastal regions.

Submission Guideline

Abstract Submission

Abstracts should not exceed 3 pages (the format must be downloaded from the website), inclusive of all text, figures, tables and references.Authors should present the novelty of the research proposed, summarize figures and illustrations (with samples), and include a summary of important conclusions.
